Painting has been part of my life since I was a child. I studied history of art at university and I have been organising and taking part in art courses in our studio at home for eight years.
My particular interest is in trees and water and the sense of looking through and beyond.My aim is to capture something of the sense of wonder that each subject creates in me, Through the use of mixed media I try to express different textures and the ever changing effects of light on the landscape.
